Gas control cabinets (GCC) are an important component of the equipment necessary for optimal operation of reduction systems.
GCC functions are as follows:
1
Provision of gas supply to residential facilities. Household gas control units (HGCU) are usually equipped with a single line and a backup reduction to maintain optimal pressure in the gas supply system
2
Gas supply at industrial and production facilities. Such GCC may have a more complex design and include several reduction lines and additional equipment
3
Gas metering units. To control the gas flow, special metering units are installed in the system, which allow you to provide the exact readings of the gas consumed
4
Gas and electric heaters. Gas or electric heaters can be installed in the gas control cabinets, thus enabling to maintain an optimal temperature in the system
5
Automation and remote control systems. Automation and remote control systems are used to effectively control the operation of gas control units, which allow you to monitor and control the operation of the system remotely
GCC design.
There are several types that differ in the number and type of reduction lines:
- GCC with one main line and bypass.
- GCC with the main and backup lines.
- GCC with two lines equipped with independent regulators of medium and low pressure.
These regulators can be installed either in series or in parallel in the system.
